Communications Assistant - JHB Metropolitan
Our client, a leading Wildlife Conservation organization, is currently looking for a Communications Assistant for their Office based in JHB Metropolitan.  Candidate must have a passion for wildlife conservation

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with coordinating logistical arrangements for media, filmmakers etc in and out of various parks in Africa
  • Assist with compiling and proof-reading media contracts
  • Create, procure and ship organizational merchandise
  • Assist with materials and merchandise for key events
  • Help catalogue online systems including photographic database
  • Assist with compiling info for presse releases when needed
  • Proofread technical monthly park reports 
  • Research, proofread and update written content for marketing materials and webpages
  • Contribute to the production of copy for social media platforms
  • Minutes of meetings

 QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Sciences, conservation or journalism
  • 2 years experience in communications 
  • Proficiency in French 
  • Strong Computer Literacy Skills
  • Passion for Wildlife Conservation is a must

 Salary:  R25 000 ctc

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Articulating Engagement strategies
  • Maintaining a reporting calendar
  • Managing timelines for inputs and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
  • Liaising with various stakeholders within the organization 
  • Facilitating grants workshops where needed
  • Maintaining grants calendar 
  • Reviewing final applications and reports 
  • Reviewing contracts and interpretation thereof
  • Administration duties

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Passion for wildlife and conservation
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in French due to the nature of the position
  • Excellent Project Management Skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct Inspections accurately and ensure all parts fitted comply with relevant Acts
  • Conduct inspections on Chassis for possible defects
  • Present all findings to the Quality Controller and supervisor
  • Address quality issues on materials 
  • ISO accredited audits and inspections
  • Quality checks and controls

  • Must possess a suitable tertiary qualification (N4 and above in Motor / engineering field)

Our Client, a leading trailer manufacturer, based in Phoenix, is currently looking for a Product Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs
  • Develop standards for design and production 
  • Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that products meet quality standards
  • Design validation efficiency rollout working with customers and managers to develop standards for design and production
  • Liaise with customers regarding product specifications
  • Ensure standards rollout is met timeously 
  • Implement best practices
  • Risk assessment and prevention of accidents
  • Investigate and advise on better ways of improving processes

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Mechanical Engineering Qualification 
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Supervisory experience is required
  • Heavy Industry or Commercial vehcile experience is requried 
  • Experience with 3D CAD package
  • Experience in overseeing product development
