DUTY MANAGER - Cape Town CBD - (PLACED)

Our client, a 4* Hotel, based in the heart of Cape Town CBD, is currently looking for a Duty Manager. 

DUTIES:

-  Overseeing general running (operations) of the hotel

-  Ensuring and overseeing maintenance work that occurs in the Hotel and liaising with GM regarding matters that need attention.

-  Making sure that the Hotel is in accordance with the regulations and implementing necessary measures that are required 

-  Oversee all conferencing and making sure that the F&B requirements are met as stipulated by the Conference Coordinator 

-  Roster restaurant and bar staff

-  Oversee recycling of hotel

-  Looking at daily bookings for restaurant and provide kitchen with accurate figures for meals

-  Formulate prices for sales in the F&B Department

-  Daily cash-up for restaurant and ensuring that all figures balance

-  Ensure kitchen is maintained

-  Management of 30 staff members

-  Management of beverage orders for the hotel and ensure that there is not too much stock

REQUIREMENTS:

-  Minimum of 2 years experience as a Duty Manager

-  Strong hospitality experience

-  Previous experience on Micros and Opera

-  Strong communication skills

-  Thorough knowledge of labour legislation - BCEA, LRA and EEA

Tenure:  Permanent

Salary:  R20 000.00 ctc

SALES COORDINATOR - Midrand

Our client, a leading FMCG company based in Midrand, is currently looking for an IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE Sales Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position. 

DUTIES:

-  Answering of all incoming calls

-  Processing of Sales Orders

-  Deadling with queries

-  Upselling where possible

-  Ensure high levels of customer service at all times

-  General admin duties

REQUIREMENTS:

This position is a 3 month contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

DUTIES:

-  Maintain routine and accurate bookkeeping

-  Maintain records of payments made

-  Following up on outstanding monies

-  Determine which accounts are overdue

-  Handing over accounts to Legal Department as and where needed

-  Reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

-  Matric - Tertiary qualification would be highly beneficial

-  Strong computer literacy skills

-  At least 5 years solid credit control experience

DUTIES:

Communicate with overseas agents, clients

-  Knowledge of forwarding

-  Seafreight import duties in full

REQUIREMENTS:

-  5 + Years experience in clearing

-  Strong communication skills
