 Production Foreman

  • Nelspruit 

We are currently looking for a Production Foreman for a position based in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.  The successful candidate must have 5 years experience in a production environment, including experience in the manufacturing of cement / concrete based products as well as maintenance schedule & planning experience.

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete running of Production, Technical, Industrial Relations, Safety, Quality and Training of employees
  • Production planning
  • Monitoring of actual production against planned targets
  • Ordering of raw material stocks on time
  • Calculating standard usage of material
  • Knowledge of standard capacities of each machine section
  • Manage efficient response in respect of plant repair or breakdowns.  This will include all machinery, equipment tools etc
  • Manage availability and maintenance of moulds to ensure consistent product compliance.
  • Oversee production methods to ensure quality products
  • Oversee production flow and productivity
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and SABS requirements
  • Study Quality Control Report on a daily basis
  • Ensure good communication with workers
  • Provide feedback on performance, results and action required

  • Regular safety inspections and compliance to all safety regulations

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or relevant NQF 4 equivalent
  • Relevant tertiary technical qualification
  • 5 years experience in production environment including experience in manufacture of cement/concrete based products
  • Maintenance schedule & planning experience
  • Health & Safety compliance knowledge
  • JDE experience will be an advantage
